GREENWORLD (USA) has provided edible landscaping services since 1975. In recent years much effort has been directed towards plant exploration in temperate wilderness areas globally, with a focus on plant research and the gathering of edible seeds. Huckleberry Leonard of Greenworld presents seminars and workshops on permaculture, treecrops and earth relationship around the world.
INSTITUTE OF EARTHCARE EDUCATION AOTEAROA (Aotearoa/New Zealand) is a non-profit Charitable Trust formed in 1998, and dedicated to the ethics and principles of sustainability. Earthcare offers facilitation, education, design, consultancy and original resource materials. In its national and international work, it commonly builds partnerships with organisations which have compatible aims.
Earthcare's aims are:
- to provide and promote education in environmental awareness, sustainable land use and responsible resource management.
- to promote a wholistic approach to education by teaching the principles and practices of cooperation, community participation and sustainable culture.
- to promote, conduct and publish research and educational materials on sustainable systems. |
